Originally issued by the British Ministry of Defence during World War Two, the original design featured a single piece of material that passed OVER the spring bars and UNDER the watch case to ensure the watch would stay on the wrist even if one of the spring bars failed.
In recent years its iconic status has been cemented in history as the watch strap of choice for Britain's most famous secret agent, having been worn by Bond from Connery to Craig.
Today, it remains a favourite among watch enthusiasts who value its military heritage, versatility, and comfort. Just like the originals that inspired it, it can be easily adjusted to suit most wrists.

Our straps fit any watch that uses standard spring bars.
If you don’t already know your size, measure the distance between the lugs of your watch (where the strap meets the case) in millimetres.
You can use a ruler or callipers, or check your existing strap — the size is usually stamped on the back. (product specific sizing information can be found in the item description)
To measure your wrist, use a strip of paper or a measuring tape and wrap it around your wrist, then measure it flat with a ruler.
